DON’T BE SCARED! You’re almost certainly familiar with the scent and taste of cinnamon (MMM!) but here’s an unfamiliar, maybe even scary word for you... Cinnamaldehyde. Yes, that funny word really does look like a cross between cinnamon and formaldehyde, but don’t worry, it’s simply cinnamon’s own safe, and very special, aldehyde class of chemical (phew!) that makes real cinnamon taste so good and smell so great! Real cinnamon oil contains a majestic 90% or more of cinnamaldehyde, making it POWERFULLY ANTIMICROBIAL, ANTISEPTIC and even an ANTIFUNGAL! it’s no surprise that cinnamon essential oil has such a long history as a near-magical wound-healer, in fact it dates back all the way to the Ebers Papyrus, one of Egypt’s oldest medical texts from more than 3500 years ago!
As well as wound healing can you imagine what cinnamon does for your immune system? Cinnamaldehyde and the other active ingredients (Copaene, Cadinene and Amorphene) are renowned for enabling your immune system to fight back harder, while it makes an excellent alternative to antibiotic creams or salves for those with allergies or drug-resistant bacterial infections.
CIRCULATION BOOSTING TOO? The folklore say it thins the blood and its warming properties, most likely due to increasing peripheral circulation, are beyond dispute. Please note this is NOT the cheapy stuff from China (Cassia “cinnamon”), this is the real thing from Ceylon, the pure essential oil of Cinnamomum zeylanicum. --- It comes with our 90 day money back SATISFACTION GUARANTEE, because we’re sure you’ll absolutely ADORE this rather special essential oil!
Easy to Use
Directions: In aromatherapy (don’t sniff directly!) cinnamon is known to completely BLITZ airborne bacteria! That makes it very useful when nursing open wounds or burns but be aware most cats dislike the scent (makes a handy cat deterrent!) Mix a few drops with honey for an amazing infection-fighting ointment.
Blends well with: bergamot, cardamom, clove, frankincense, ginger, grapefruit, lemon, mandarin, marjoram, nutmeg, orange, peppermint, peru balsam, petitgrain, rose, vanilla, ylang ylang.
